i never update this thing...but i felt like it for some reason
monday night, on a total whim, i bought a ticket to go see rent wed night. so yesterday after work i hopped in the car drove to new haven and took a train into the city. i got to walk around all by myself and take my time looking at things. I made it to the theatre, picked up my ticket at will call and sat down, prepared to watch fucking ANTHONY RAPP and Adam Pascal! original Mark and Roger! i've seen Rent before...but this was just different, watching anthony play the role that he created so long ago was just awesome. i know i'm a total dork but it was just amazing to watch. and i'm pretty sure that i've decided i'm going back before they leave the show (they're only staying until sept 9th.) and i'm gonna try to get $20 rush tickets the day of, so i dont have to reallly spend any money. so if you want to go see anthony rapp and adam pascal with me you totally should, cuz its freakin awesome.

I haven't updated this thing in about a million years. basically b/c i have no life. the house finally looks like a complete house and carolyn moved in which is nice cuz now i have someone to hang out with. Work is going well I had my 3 month evalulation last week and it couldn't have gone any better. The kids are great and for the most part so are the parents. Parent teacher conferences (yes we have these for 3-5 year olds!) went pretty well except for the one mom who decided to go over her time by 1/2 hour and bring in her sister to the conference b/c she's a teacher. The director did not like her doing that and neither did i, i didn't feel like getting attacked. Its kinda weird working with my assistant teacher tho, b/c she's SO much older and i have to tell her what to do.....i dont know its odd, shes been there for 19 years. i wish i had found this place sooner, and i'm really lucky that i found it at all, Children's Discover Center (or Kindercare as they are becoming) was no where near as good, I'm making salary in Guilford whereas in Cheshire i was making 10/hr. I wish i had vacation time already tho haha, b/c the circle is going to RI in August but I cant take the time off....and even if I had vaca time I couldn't really go b/c my assistant is out that week and we cant both be out at the same time. but all in all everything is going good.

So my roommate is high and drunk and loud. kristen and i just cleaned my whole fucking apt b/c she hasn't done anything... and now i do believe she's mad cuz all her shit is in the bedroom on her bed...but i dont even give a shit. my parents are coming up tomorrow and i'm not letting them walk to an apt thats covered w/ pictures of penises, leftover pot & beer & rum, and just filth.
so glad i'm moving out.

i am all done. this semester cant be over soon enough. my fucking project just got ruined by my drunk roommate and her friends. i just finished it and it just got ruined. there is not enough time in the day. there is no way i can finish all i have due in the amount of time its due. there is no way. none. done. done with all of this.

ST= Student Teaching
My work hours might change depending on whether or not the shifts are open....but still, its a 43 hour week.... without even trying to factor in homework/paper writing/studying.

I love my solo for jazz class so much so far. I have almost nothing but I'm so excited by it. Oh and plus its to One Song Glory from Rent so its even better. I just want to do something I'm proud of and something that I wont be too too nervous to actually do. I start facing backwards so at least I dont have to look anyone in the face to begin.
I have never ever been excited to do anything in front of a crowd ever. Well except for Archie, but that was different. I feel so good about this, I'm wicked nervous, but its a good kind. I hope it stays this way, I really want to do a good job and I really want to try and do it during class. Hopefully I can keep my nerves in check and not have to do it on the day of the final.
